Oh what a night! The District Atlanta Holiday Ball, held for the first time this past holiday season on the 19th December 2024, was the first in an exciting new tradition for District and Atlanta's vibrant hospitality and music industries. This exceptional event united local businesses, entrepreneurs, DJs, and members of the broader music and hospitality communities to celebrate their shared passion and dedication to Atlanta's thriving EDM scene.
Did we party? Yes. We. Did!
Elegance, style, and a whole lot of fun, the District, Atlanta Holiday Ball was more than just a party. It was a heartfelt expression of gratitude to the industry and its supporters. The event shone a spotlight on the resilience and creativity of Atlanta's local industries while also contributing to a noble cause. It was a sparkling night of glamour, music, and community spirit - the vibe was euphoric!
DJ Babey Drew and Bogi, two of Atlanta's finest talents, set Districts main stage on fire with an explosive evening of EDM magic. Both DJ's have had an enviable career onstage with an entertainment resume that includes working with Chris Brown, the Kardashians, Diplo, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, Justin Bieber, The Chainsmokers, as well as Steve Aoki, The Chainsmokers, Tiësto, Diplo, Cloonee respectively.
It's all about the kids - supporting a worthy cause
Partnering with The Babey Drew Foundation, the event was not only a celebration, but a beautiful way to give back to an incredible local charity. The Babey Drew Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded by DJ Babey Drew, whose aim is to empower children with financial education, provide scholarships to kids in need, and extend a helping hand to those less fortunate. DJ Babey Drew, an accomplished musician and philanthropist, created the foundation to instill financial literacy as a transformative skill that can break the cycle of poverty and open doors to a brighter future to underprivileged youth in the Atlanta area.
The Holiday Ball raised awareness and funds for the foundation, aligning its charitable goals with the values of the District Atlanta community. By supporting this cause, the event not only celebrated the city's creative spirit but also fostered a culture of giving back to those who need it most, and nurturing that creative spirit within them.
And the winner is…
While the opportunity to win a stash of epic prizes was a bonus, the indisputable win of the night had to be in the unification of the many facets of Atlanta's local industries. Entrepreneurs, DJs, local businesses, and hospitality professionals came together to help create an atmosphere of collaboration and celebration. Although, the 50/50 Raffle was a monumental highlight with partygoers sharing in an outrageously awesome line up of prizes - including one lucky winner snagging the big prize of half the raffles ticket sales in cash!

Hands down, the night was a phenomenal success! The champagne flowed, the beats played on into the early hours, and the vibe was pumping. The inaugural District Atlanta Holiday Ball has certainly set a high standard for repeat performances, but we at District are up for it! The simpatico of entertainment, charity, and camaraderie created a celebratory atmosphere unlike any other. Based on feedback from our partners, DJ's and the crowd on the night, we believe that the holiday ball will become a cornerstone of Atlanta's holiday season.
The District Atlanta Holiday Ball not only succeeded in its mission to celebrate and support the local industry but also proved the power of community and shared purpose.
