End Overdose
Fight Against Drug Overdoses
District is hosting an amazing outdoor daytime event with music, food, raffle prizes, education, and free naloxone certifications in collaboration with End Overdose. End Overdose is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, California, working to end drug-related overdose deaths through education, medical intervention, and public awareness. Fentanyl-related overdoses are the number one cause of death for people ages 18-45, according to the CDC, and three out of five overdose deaths could have been prevented if someone present knew when and how to intervene.
Volunteers will be training event attendees on how and when to use naloxone, and providing a free dose to those that get certified. To help End Overdose fulfill their mission of equipping individuals across the country with the knowledge and tools to prevent overdose deaths, 100% of proceeds will be donated to their nonprofit.
By attending and participating in our event, you can help make a significant impact in the fight against drug overdoses and get the opportunity to learn valuable skills that can help save lives.
Come out and support the cause to help us reach our goal of raising $5000 while enjoying a great time with friends and neighbors. Let's come together and make a difference in our community. We look forward to seeing you there!
